Reuben is currently the CEO responsible for overall strategy and management of Meinhardt China which has over 1,200 employees with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Macau. He has more than 40 years of engineering consulting and project management experience for lots of major infrastructure and building development projects in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, and the United Kingdom. As the former Chairman of the Hong Kong Engineers Registration Board, former President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, former President of the Hong Kong Institution of Highways and Transportation and former Chairman of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Hong Kong, Reuben actively promotes and encourages interchange of engineering knowledge between members and other relevant professional or academic groups, so that the public can understand the latest developments in the engineering industry. Reuben had also served as a member of many Government advisory bodies in Hong Kong, including Chairman of Structural Engineers Registration Committee; Lands and Development Advisory Committee member; Transport Tribunals’ Panel member and the Corruption Prevention Advisory Committee member. Currently acting an advisory committee member for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Reuben also served as a member of the advisory committees of many local universities. Other than that, Reuben is enthusiastic about social welfare and awarded the title of Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2008. Moreover, he had also been a member of Tianjin’s Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
