This hospital (NAH) consists of 5 building blocks, with total CFA approximately 420,000m² and 160,000m² in the South Apron of the Kai Tak Development Area. The project comprising of the following facilities: a 21-storey Acute Block with 2-level basement and a rooftop helipad; a 20-storey Administration Block with 2-level basement, a 20-storey Education Block with 2-level basement; a 12-storey Oncology Block with 2-level basement; a 12-storey SOPC Block with 2-level basement. All building blocks will be interconnected and also connecting to the existing Hong Kong Children Hospital by link bridges and subway. The development comprises design and construction of a new major acute general hospital with a total planned capacity of around 2,400 nos. of in-patient and day beds.
To enable a seamless and integrated planning and development of the hospital sites at the Kai Tak Development Area, the development of the public waterfront promenade adjoining the site for the NAH at Site B will be incorporated in this Project. The proposed NAH development comprises design and construction of a new major acute general hospital with a total planned capacity of around 2,400 nos. of in-patient and day beds. We provide Steel MiC and DfMA Composite Box for In-patient Ward\Toilet\Consultation Rooms\Pantry, thus Concurrent Construction with Main Frame Structure and MiC boxes Installation.
Nevertheless, we provide building services design for MiC and act as Registered Energy Assessor (REA) for building energy efficiency submission for the whole project.
