“Alternative design of an interchange with four link roads near Kiu Tau, Fanling. The interchange consists of 3km long of viaducts in precast concrete segmental construction with spans between 40-70m. The use of integral pier deck / portal construction provides enhances the overall rigidity of the bridge structure and reduces the foundation requirements. Meinhardt provides service to the Contractor in Alternative Design, Value Engineering, Erection Engineering, Traffic management plan, Utilities Diversion plan, Temporary Works Design, CDIA and Environmental Assessment.
Designer of the main contractor of the construction project of an approximately 4.6km long dual 2-lane carriageway connecting the Liantang / Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point (BCP) responsible for the alternative design of 3.3km viaducts to be erected by precast segmental balanced cantilever method. The Project also includes construction of a 0.7km tunnel and the associated tunnel ventilation buildings, construction of Sha Tau Kok Interchange, provision of a 1.8km perimeter road at the proposed BCP and all associated slope works, drainage, sewerage, watermains, landscape, traffic survey study, temporary traffic diversion and environmental mitigation works.
The project consists of several buildings including the new Passenger Terminal Building. We provide façade consultancy service for the external envelope system of the Passenger Terminal Building.
